The aim and activities of organisation:   Help North Walsham to grow as a deaf friendly place.  To encourage the learning and use of British Sign Language (BSL)

Title of volunteer role – BSL Enabler

Role description – To encourage those with a hearing impairment

Minimum time commitment & flexibility – Whatever possible is welcomed

Any specific skills or experience required – Patience, and willingness to help and encourage

One off volunteer taster/ drop-ins available – Yes

Training offered and skills development potential – BSL lessons are free with us, we offer some in NW Library

Role description – Working at till and tidying displays

Minimum time commitment & flexibility – One or more 3 hour shifts, between Monday to Saturday

Any specific skills or experience required – Training provided

Training offered and skills development potential – Customer facing skills
